The Delridge Alliance and the North Delridge Neighborhood Council (NDNC) are seeking nominations to fill two Alliance Advocate positions. This is an opportunity for interested community members to represent the voices of the Delridge neighborhood regarding the proposed Downtown Emergency Service Center (DESC) Delridge Supportive Housing project.
The Delridge Alliance is an advisory work group of stakeholders organized to gather input and prioritize the community’s concerns regarding the DESC Supportive Housing Project; to help the community envision our goals for the DESC space; and to actively work with key decision makers to represent the community’s needs throughout the DESC project timeline.
The Delridge Alliance consists of up to nine individuals, known as Alliance Advocates, whose goals are to represent the views of community stakeholder groups. The Advocates for these two open positions will work closely with two other Neighborhood Leadership Advocates to focus specifically on gathering, filtering, and prioritizing input from the neighborhood at large, with support from NDNC and the Delridge Community Forum.
Interested neighbors should read the attached description of the Delridge Alliance and submit nominations via email by January 15th. Nominations should include the name, phone number, and email for follow up by the NDNC.
