Please help us clean the bike/pedestrian path across the street from the Skylark cafe this Sunday, November 17th, 10.00 bis 12.00 Uhr.
We will meet at the Skylark cafe (3803 Delridge Way SW) where bags and gloves will be provided but ask that you bring safety cones and/or rakes if you have them.
Fallen leaves at this time of year can make bike/pedestrian paths slippery and clog up storm drains. Even if you are unable to join us this Sunday, please clean the sidewalks and storm drains around your home if you’re able. All of us working together can make a visible difference in our neighborhood!
Per the request of the community, DESC has agreed to rename the new building to Cottage Grove Commons.
Thanks to Kirsten Smith, Tanya Baer and Dorsol Plants for working with DESC on this issue.
Lisa is working to set up a clean up this weekend and solicited ideas for locations. It was requested that we look at leaves over drains to help mitigation flooding down stream. Lisa will email the list serve with clean up details soon.
Patrick and Tanya are planning the next Solstice party next month. They will announce time and location details soon.

This year Delridge Day will be hosting a new and exciting area called the “Green Zone.” We all know that Seattle is known for being very eco-conscious and we are excited that we have some incredible vendors and sponsors who promote this great lifestyle. This year we had the idea to group all the “green”vendors together to make a larger community and highlight some of what makes Seattle so great!
The following is a list of the vendors and sponsors Lesen Sie mehr »

Don’t forget to mark your calendar for Delridge Day on Saturday, 17. August! We’ll be planning for that and hearing an update from Fair Elections Seattle. We have two support letters to discuss and approve, including (1) a letter of support for Delridge Grocery (for use in their grant applications) und (2) a letter supporting keeping STEM at Boren (with our belief that a stable, permanent school at that location is a benefit to the neighborhood). We will also discuss a voluntary alcohol deferment program that has been implemented in other areas of Seattle and whether that makes sense for North Delridge.
Wir hoffen, Sie dort zu sehen! Read the full agenda here.
Bitte besuchen Sie uns auf August 3rd from 10am to noon to clean up the area in and around the Delridge Community Center in anticipation of Delridge Day!
We will meet at the Delridge Community Center (4501 Delridge Way SW) wo Taschen, Handschuhe, Kommissionierer, and refreshments will be provided.
