Plus, a special THANK YOU to Patrick and Tanya Baer for leading the cleanup in my absence.  It’s neighbors like them who make North Delridge a great place to live!

Oct 2011 - Rain Garden Work Party

Incentives for rain gardens and cisterns

Some very interesting opportunities for Delridge residents to take advantage of incentives for rain gardens and cisterns, with assistance from Sustainable Seattle:

RainWise is in your neighborhood!  Right now, you can get up to a 100% reimbursement from Seattle Public Utilities for rain gardens and cisterns on your property.  These beautiful and functional landscape features help prevent runoff pollution from flowing into our local waterways.  Learn more about this program and the simple steps you can take to prevent pollution in the attachment!”

Lisainformatsiooni siin.

Also, a related post here that describes some of the history of Delridge neighbors working to install rain gardens.
