We’re going to be talking about cannabis – medical marijuana dispensary regulations to be more precise. City Councilmember Nick Licata and Council President Sally Clark will be here to listen to community input and answer questions about the proposed legislation. Here is an informative link about the proposed regulations, which place restrictions on the size and location of dispensaries, among other things.
Also on the agenda, we will get a chance to meet the new director of Youngstown Cultural Arts Center and engage in some guided “Year Behind, Year Ahead” conversation about the opportunities and challenges of the North Delridge neighborhood. There will be Big Paper and sticky dots!
It is a special festive end-of-year meeting, so treats are provided (and you are welcome to bring a favorite holiday goody). We are welcoming a new executive council and thanking a departing executive council (although truth be told, there are quite a few people remaining for a second term).
