Youngstown Flats is getting closer to finishing up construction. I received this note with details on upcoming road work to install sidewalks and landscaping.
As I mentioned in a previous email, Absher has begun working on the street work along Dakota and 26th Avenue. Please see the attached flyer that SDOT requires to be distributed.
Absher will be starting SIP work the week of 2/4/13. The letter indicates road closures will take place until 3/1; however, as you know, they are already taking place for other work and they will continue until we are complete at the beginning of April.
Additionally, on the 28th of January (next Monday), Absher will be working until 11pm transferring power from our temporary power supply to our permanent power supply. Work after standard hours will all take place inside the building, so there shouldn’t be any impact to you, but I wanted you to be aware in the event you notice lights and activity inside the building after dark.
Also, the crane is scheduled to come down on February 7th. This will require closure of Dakota street for part or all of that day. As they have in the past, Absher will make every accommodation to help get you in and out of your driveways that day.
We should start seeing some significant visual changes in the next few weeks. I look forward to having a safe place to walk again.
